The Lido Club, a fashionable nightclub within Holland Casino’s flagship venue in central Amsterdam, is as cool as they come. At the flick of a button, lights, ceiling, videos and aroma instantly change the “mood” of the nightclub.
In addition to the bar and dance floor, three majestic “gamepods” dominate the room. The gamepods are available for hire and accommodate up to eight people. The regulation size gaming table is a Mindstorm interactive table complete with party games to entertain the guests. The table can also be converted to conventional poker and blackjack tables and included in the hire cost is a private croupier.
Initially two games were designed to entertain the guests. A multi-player quiz game with dozens of categories and thousands of questions is sure to bring the competitive spirit out at the party and the multi-player the DJ application will get the creative juices flowing. In a future version, the guests in each pod will be able to compete against each other as well as compete against the resident DJ.
